چکیده مقاله:
Ascites is a common complication of liver cirrhosis, and its management presents significant challenges. Nursing interventions focused on ascites management may play a crucial role in addressing these challenges and impacting patients' quality of life and clinical outcomes. This study aims to examine the effect of nursing interventions based on ascites management on the quality of life and clinical outcomes in patients with cirrhosis. A total of ۸۵۶ articles were initially identified, reduced to ۷۲۶ after removing duplicates. From these, ۳۸۹ were evaluated, and ۵۹ met the inclusion criteria. This review found that nursing interventions for ascites management in cirrhosis patients improve quality of life and clinical outcomes. Interventions such as self-care education, dietary monitoring, and symptom management alleviated ascites symptoms, enhanced clinical status, and reduced invasive treatment needs. Patients also demonstrated improved self-care abilities, contributing to better quality of life. Effectiveness varied with factors like disease severity and comorbidities. Further research is needed to assess long-term outcomes. Nursing interventions based on ascites management can contribute to improving the quality of life and clinical outcomes in patients with cirrhosis. These interventions lead to a reduction in ascites symptoms, improved clinical status, and enhanced self-care capabilities in patients. Further research is essential to evaluate the long-term effects of these interventions.
