چکیده مقاله:

Infertility is defined as the inability of couples to conceive after one year of regular sexual intercourse, which is influenced by a number of factors, including genetic predisposition, lifestyle, living environment, and socio-economic factors. Infertility represents an escalating global challenge with far-reaching implications for the future of population and sustainable development. A review of existing research in this field will allow us to identify the factors affecting infertility, its consequences for different societies, and strategies to deal with this challenge. In this regard, the present study sought to examine the influence of infertility on the future of the population, encompassing demographic trends, age structure, and economic growth, as well as its implications for various dimensions of sustainable development, including health, education, and the environment.
