A Template for Implementing Project Management Processes with a Combined Approach through Mapping Editions ۶ and ۷ of the Project Management Knowledge Scope Guide based on the Scrum Framework

Due to the rapid pace of evolution in today's world, the synchronization of project management as an interdisciplinary science with other fields is a prerequisite for projects. With the emergence of agile management concepts and approaches, the Project Management Institute (PMI) has presented the ۷th edition of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) with this aim. However, the clear execution of it has not been articulated, and according to the guide's emphasis, customization in line with the project's context is necessary. In this current research, considering the combined project management approach for the case study (national software project in Iran), the harmonization and coexistence of the ۶th and ۷th editions have been proposed and addressed in the scientific design research method to meet the project's needs. Based on this, in addition to the mapping matrix of the ۶th and ۷th editions of PMBOK, a roadmap for the practical use of project management tools has been provided as a guide in similar projects.
