چکیده مقاله:
Military ammunition has a limited storage life, and after the end of this period, it is treated as military waste containing a large amount of nitrocellulose. Nitrocellulose in military ammunition dumps becomes an explosive and dangerous substance due to the increase in the amount of nitrogen in nitrocellulose. Also, nitrocellulose waste produced from factories and commercial industries such as printing, paint, ink base, glue, etc. also requires providing a safe and economical method for disposal and recovery of nitrocellulose waste. A brief overview of the methods of removing nitrocellulose stains is very important. Nitrocellulose waste disposal methods include open explosion, biological hydrolysis, acid hydrolysis and alkaline hydrolysis. In this article, the types of methods and the effect of reaction parameters and produced products are discussed. The reviews showed that alkaline hydrolysis is a low-cost and safe method for waste recovery.
