چکیده مقاله:

Hydroforming is a process of forming a metal part by a pressurized fluid. This piece can be a tube or sheet. If the primary metal piece is for tube forming, tube hydroforming and if it is a sheet, the sheet hydroforming process is done. The hydroforming set includes a hydraulic press, hydroforming mold and a pressure booster system, which leads to the creation of a strong and stable structure in the part. This shaping is done with the force of a fluid under pressure on the metal piece to change its shape and create the desired shape in it. Hydroforming is a unique and unique method for shaping metal, with very low tolerance. Pipe hydroforming is one of the forming processes in which high pressure fluid and axial force are used in both ends of the pipe to form the pipe. Using this technology, light parts with high strength and reasonable price can be produced. Double-walled pipes can be used in complex industrial environments such as oil and nuclear industries that have harsh and corrosive conditions. In this article, the pipe hydroforming process is simulated with Abaqus software. Then, the effect of geometrical parameters such as friction, roughness of surfaces, convexity or absence of plunger on the quality of shaping (most protrusion, least thinning and avoiding wrinkling) has been investigated.
