Impact and Effectiveness of Urban Development and Climate Change Through an Adaptability Approach

Climate change is widely recognized as the most significant phenomenon of the current century. Numerous scientists and researchers attribute its primary causes to human activities, particularly those occurring in urban environments. However, it is essential to acknowledge that climate change is not solely influenced by anthropogenic and urban factors; rather, it also exerts reciprocal effects on these elements, leading to various consequences. This cyclical relationship places both urban and natural ecosystems at heightened risk due to the increased production of greenhouse gases and industrial activities. Consequently, understanding the influential factors at both urban and natural levels can facilitate the development of more effective solutions and management strategies, both locally and globally, to address the risks associated with climate change. This research aims to identify critical factors such as economic conditions, social dynamics, performance and infrastructure, urban morphology, environmental considerations, and micro-components in a distinct manner. By doing so, it seeks to provide more precise and specialized solutions for addressing climate change, thereby elucidating the causes, effects, and consequences of related events. This work is a valuable resource for scholars and practitioners in environmental studies, urban planning, architecture, and social and economic sciences.
