The aim of this study is to determine the extent of the role of the counselor in the academic progress of elementary school students. The student should learn to read from the elementary school. In addition to studying, he should work on other aspects of himself and not be one-dimensional. He should be talented and know what he is more successful in. The student's learning period is in the elementary school, so this is a golden time. Academic success in students plays an effective role in their growth and future, whether in academic performance, self-confidence and self-esteem. On the other hand, by creating security at home, the family can play an active role in their child's academic performance, and the counselor is a complement to it. Teaching has very precise and sensitive methods and techniques, so teaching must be done with the teacher's attention to detail and tact towards his students, which will have a high positive impact on the learning and understanding of his students. Independent and self-controlled learning helps students to take continuous and lifelong steps on the path of their academic and professional growth.
