چکیده مقاله:
Sonar and acoustic equipment have been known as underwater detection methods since the past. In recent years, with the development of laser technology and the ability to manufacture powerful lasers, the use of these equipment has also become common for detecting and presenting three-dimensional images of underwater objects. Therefore, it is necessary to compare the detection capacities of these two methods. In this review, the types of common sonars and lidars are introduced and their advantages, disadvantages, and detection capacities are compared.
