Satellite Communications Based on Software Defined Radio - A Case Study: Electra Radio

In the current era, communication and electronic technologies play an unparalleled role in human life. It can be argued that these systems have expanded to all corners of the globe and even beyond, and it is rare to find an individual untouched by the benefits of these technologies. Nearly all communication devices around us utilize software-defined radio (SDR) technology in some form, which has significantly enhanced the flexibility and efficiency of these systems. In this article, we first introduce software-defined radio and then present Electra Radio, a case study of an SDR used in the satellite industry.
