چکیده مقاله:

This study aimed to investigate the relationship between death wish and life adjustment with spouse infidelity in individuals with symptoms of antisocial personality disorder and the mediating role of emotional expression. ۳۴۷ people who visited counseling and psychiatric centers in Kermanshah in ۱۴۰۳ were surveyed. Data were collected using standardized questionnaires: Death Wish ( BSSI ) , Emotion Regulation ( DERS ) , Infidelity to Spouse ( ATIS ) , and Emotion Expression ( EES ) and analyzed with software . SPSS ۲۶ and AMOS ۲۴ were analyzed. The findings showed that emotion regulation had a strong positive effect on emotional expression ( β = ۰.۶۲ ) and a negative effect on betrayal ( β = -۰.۲۳ ), while death wish was associated with decreased emotional expression ( β = -۰.۲۵ ) and increased betrayal ( β = ۰.۳۹ ). Emotional expression also significantly reduced betrayal ( β = -۰.۳۸ ). Indirect effects showed that emotion regulation by enhancing emotional expression reduced infidelity by ۰.۲۴ units, while suicidality by weakening emotional expression increased this risk by ۰.۰۹ units. Model fit indices ( CFI = ۰.۹۴, RMSEA = ۰.۰۴, χ² / pdf = ۲.۱ ) and coefficients of determination ( R² = ۰.۴۲ to ۰.۵۵ ) emphasized the favorable fit of the model to the data. These results indicate that deficits in emotional regulation and death tendencies, by disrupting the expression of healthy emotions, increase the risk of betrayal in these individuals and highlight the need to design psychotherapeutic interventions to strengthen emotional skills and reduce risky behaviors.
