چکیده مقاله:

This study aimed to investigate the relationship between self-efficacy, resilience, and suicidal ideation in people with generalized anxiety disorder ( GAD ). The statistical population consisted of ۲۷۶ patients referred to counseling and psychiatric centers in Kermanshah, who were selected using convenience sampling. Standard questionnaires of General Self-Efficacy ( GSE ) , Connor and Davidson Resilience ( CD - RISC ) , Beck Suicidal Ideation ( BSSI ) , and General Anxiety Disorder ( GAD - ۷ ) were used to collect data . Data analysis using Pearson correlation and multiple regression methods showed that self-efficacy and resilience had a positive and significant relationship with each other ( r = ۰.۷۱, p < ۰.۰۱ ) and both showed a negative correlation with suicidal ideation ( respectively ). r = -۰.۵۶ and r =-۰.۶۲ , p< ۰.۰۱ ) . Also, self -efficacy and resilience jointly explained ۴۵ % of the variance in suicidal ideation ( R² = ۰.۴۵ ). Learning anxiety was also negatively correlated with self-efficacy ( r = -۰.۴۸ ) and resilience ( r = -۰.۵۲ ) and positively correlated with suicidal ideation ( r = ۰.۶۷ ). It can be concluded that strengthening self-efficacy and resilience can be considered an effective strategy for reducing suicidal ideation and improving mental health in this population.
