چکیده مقاله:
This study evaluates the efficiency of Fe۳O۴-silica core-shell magnetic nanoparticles in removing radioactive metals from contaminated water. The aim of this research is to develop an innovative and cost-effective method for reducing radioactive pollution in water resources using magnetic nanoparticles. The nanoparticles were synthesized via the co-precipitation method and characterized using XRD, FTIR, and SEM techniques. The adsorption performance of these nanoparticles was investigated under the influence of parameters such as pH, contact time, and initial concentration of radioactive metals. The results showed that Fe۳O۴-silica nanoparticles, under optimal conditions, are capable of removing more than ۹۵% of radioactive metals. This study highlights the potential of core-shell magnetic nanoparticles as an effective and reliable option for managing radioactive pollution in contaminated water.
