Predicting the Quality of Work Life of Teachers Based on Conflict Management, Occupational Stressors and Emotional Harassment in Tehran

چکیده مقاله:
Background & Objective: The purpose of this study was to predicting the quality of work life of teachers based on conflict management, Occupational Stressors and emotional harassment in Tehran. Methods: The statistical population of this study includes all of teachers of girls' high schools in Tehran in the academic year ۲۰۱۹-۲۰۲۰. For this reason, a sample of ۴۰۰ people of them was selected using random multistage cluster sampling. The participants responded to quality of working Life questionnaire (Walton, ۱۹۷۳), conflict management questionnaire (Robbins, ۱۹۹۴), Occupational Stressors questionnaire (Karasek et al, ۱۹۹۸) and emotional exhaustion questionnaire (Hashemi, ۱۳۹۱). This research is correlational and data analysis was performed using path analysis method. Results: The results showed that emotional exhaustion (β=۰.۴۹۴), Occupational Stressors (β=۰.۵۲۶) and conflict management (β=۰.۳۴۳) have a significant effect on predicting the quality of work life of girls' high school teachers in Tehran (P<۰.۰۱). Conclusions: Therefore according to the findings conflict management have a directly effect on quality of work life and conflict management have a indirectly effect on quality of work life by significant decreasing emotional exhaustion and Occupational Stressors. Conflict management skills and strategies help people better cope with problems and tensions in the workplace and reduce psychological stress. When emotional exhaustion and stress are reduced, people can feel better about their jobs, which ultimately leads to an improved quality of work life.
