چکیده مقاله:
This research investigates the thermodynamic and economic advantages of a new multi-generation system. This system, based on a Rankine cycle and a double-effect absorption chiller, enhances energy efficiency by recovering waste heat from the steam turbine via a steam heat exchanger generator. This recovered heat then drives the cooling system, effectively meeting the required cooling demand. This study examines a system using a steam turbine, selected for its potential to lower emissions, improve performance, and offer better economic efficiency compared to a gas turbine alternative. A parametric analysis assesses how system performance responds to changes in crucial operating parameters. This research proposes a combined cooling, heating, and power (CCHP) system and provides a comprehensive thermodynamic analysis. Cogeneration, by reducing both energy consumption and environmental pollution, offers significant advantages. This study further enhances the economic viability of the proposed CCHP system through the application of contemporary cost functions. Thermodynamic analysis demonstrates that the proposed system achieves ۳۷% energy efficiency and ۳۸% exergy efficiency. Economic analysis indicates a cost of $۲.۰۸۴ per GJ, suggesting economic viability. Moreover, the system is characterized by low emission levels.
