چکیده مقاله:
Neural stem cells (NSCs) represent a promising avenue for therapeutic intervention in neurological disorders dueto their unique ability to self-renew and differentiate into neurons, astrocytes, and oligodendrocytes, all of whichare essential components of the central nervous system (CNS). In recent years, advancements in geneticengineering have significantly enhanced the potential of NSCs, improving their proliferative capacity andallowing for the targeted differentiation into specific cell types required for tissue repair. This ability has greatimplications for treating neurodegenerative diseases, brain injuries, and spinal cord trauma. Genetically modifiedNSCs have demonstrated the potential to repair damaged neural tissue, deliver therapeutic molecules to the site ofinjury, and promote functional recovery. Despite significant progress, challenges related to the integration, differentiation, and safety of genetically engineered NSCs remain. However, preclinical studies and ongoingresearch offer promising results, and with continued advancements, NSC-based therapies could revolutionize thetreatment of neurological conditions previously considered incurable.
