The Impact of IT Capabilities and Innovation on Business Performance in Industrial Companies Through Supply Chain Integration

Information technology capabilities and innovation play a significant role in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. It is noteworthy that businesses with information technology, innovation, and the ability to utilize them can be leaders in supply chain integration compared to other businesses. Technology and innovation significantly affect the quantity and quality of supply chain integration and are among the key factors in improving the business performance of industrial companies. This study examines the impact of information technology capabilities and innovation on the business performance of industrial companies through supply chain integration. The research is descriptive-survey in nature and, in terms of purpose, is applied research. The statistical population of this study consists of companies active in the Shiraz Industrial Park, with a total of ۳۳۸ companies considered as the sample. Data was collected using a questionnaire, and for analysis, structural equation modeling with a partial least squares approach was applied using SMART PLS۴ software. The results of this study show that information technology capabilities and innovation capabilities, through supply chain integration, have a positive and significant impact on the business performance of industrial companies.
