چکیده مقاله:

The integration of spatial and social dimensions in sustainable urban design is essential for creating resilient, inclusive, and adaptive cities. This study examines Tehran Province as a case study, focusing on the interplay between sustainable development indicators and urban spatial and social dynamics. Using a descriptive-analytical approach, the research incorporates ۵۰ sustainable development indicators and ۳۰ creative urban criteria, such as human capital, innovation, and quality of life. Key findings highlight significant imbalances in population distribution, urban infrastructure, and resource allocation across Tehran's urban system. The regression analysis demonstrates that innovation, human capital, and social capital are critical factors influencing sustainable urban design, explaining ۹۹.۱% of the variance in spatial and social dynamics. Despite Tehran’s economic dominance, urban disparities persist, particularly in peripheral towns like Robat Karim and Damavand. Policy recommendations emphasize decentralized development, investment in renewable energy, and leveraging local cultural and economic potential. By aligning sustainable development goals with spatial and social strategies, Tehran can transition towards a more balanced, equitable, and sustainable urban future.
