چکیده مقاله:

This study explores the integration of sustainable practices in architectural design to address energy consumption challenges in residential buildings. Using a residential model inspired by traditional Iranian architecture, the energy performance of various insulation materials and a Building Management System (BMS) was analyzed through computer simulations in Autodesk Revit and Ecotect software. Five scenarios were investigated, including traditional construction, insulated walls, insulated roofs, combined insulated walls and roofs, and the integration of a BMS system. The results revealed that the BMS system achieved the most significant reduction in annual energy consumption, with a ۳۴.۶۱% decrease compared to the base model. Among insulation materials, rock wool demonstrated the highest efficiency with a ۱۳.۹۸% reduction, followed by polystyrene and polyurethane. Additionally, the impact of insulation thickness was examined, showing diminishing returns beyond optimal thickness. The findings emphasize the potential of combining advanced energy management systems with efficient insulation to create environmentally friendly and energy-efficient residential buildings.
