چکیده مقاله:

With growing concern around the entire world for climate change and also the consumption of all fossil fuel resources, the adoption of renewable sources as an alternative in architecturally thoughtful sustainable solutions has assumed critical importance. It investigates various forms of renewable energies like solar, wind, geothermal, and biomass, and its applications within the modern practice of architecture. The methodology of the research involves a critical review of the literature in conjunction with elaborate case study analyses that focus on sustainable design approaches. Secondly, it looks at their impacts on reduction in energy use and improvement in environmental quality. From the results, it finds that integrating renewable energy technologies into architecture would greatly contribute to the making of an environmentally sustainable space while at the same time reducing energy consumption. This research underlines the urgent need to embed renewable energy considerations into the process of architectural design and sustainable urban development.
