چکیده مقاله:

Rural areas face significant challenges in achieving sustainable development, including limited access to resources, infrastructure, and technology. Traditional building practices often rely on non-renewable resources and contribute to environmental degradation. This paper explores the potential of sustainable construction materials and techniques to address these challenges. Through a comprehensive literature review, this study examines the environmental, economic, and social benefits of using sustainable materials in rural construction. Key findings include the potential of locally sourced materials to reduce carbon footprints, improve indoor air quality, and enhance community resilience. Additionally, the paper delves into the technical aspects of sustainable construction, including the properties and performance of materials like bamboo and rammed earth, as well as innovative construction techniques. However, several challenges hinder the widespread adoption of sustainable construction in rural areas, such as limited awareness, financial constraints, and inadequate infrastructure. To overcome these barriers, a multi-faceted approach is necessary, including policy support, capacity building, and financial incentives. By addressing these challenges and promoting sustainable construction practices, it is possible to create resilient, equitable, and environmentally friendly rural communities.
