چکیده مقاله:
The use of recycled materials in concrete production is recognized as a sustainable and economical solution in the construction industry. One of the most significant advantages of using these materials is the reduction in production costs. By replacing natural raw materials with recycled materials such as old concrete, glass, plastic, and industrial waste, the costs of extracting and transporting raw materials can be significantly reduced. Additionally, the use of recycled materials helps conserve natural resources and reduces pressure on the environment. This method can also contribute to decreasing the volume of waste produced in landfills and lead to a sustainable cycle in material management. Especially in today's world, where environmental issues and climate change have become serious challenges, using recycled materials in concrete production can serve as an effective solution to mitigate negative impacts on the environment. However, the use of recycled materials in concrete production also comes with challenges. One of these challenges is the quality and reliability of recycled materials. In some cases, recycled materials may have unsuitable mechanical and physical properties that negatively affect concrete performance. For instance, the presence of contaminants or harmful substances in recycled waste can lead to reduced durability and stability of the concrete. Moreover, the need for thorough testing and evaluation of recycled materials before use can add time and additional costs to projects. Additionally, existing limitations and standards in the construction industry may impact the use of these materials. Therefore, while the use of recycled materials in concrete production can offer significant benefits, it is essential to carefully consider the associated challenges and limitations to achieve a sustainable and effective solution.
