This thesis looks at the future of ۵G and Software-Defined Networking (SDN) technologies, specifically how they will affect the development of ۶G and the Internet of Things (IoT). I argue that the development of SDN and ۵G is crucial to forming the next generation of connectivity, which will bring about revolutionary changes in many different industries. My research is divided into three sections. The first section outlines the historical background and technological developments of ۵G and SDN and links them to the core concepts of ۶G and IoT. While the third section presents international case studies that illustrate the current influence of SDN and ۵G on creative connectivity solutions, the second section explores potential applications and the difficulties these technologies face, such as security and scalability constraints. The conclusion identifies areas for further research and emphasizes the important role these technologies play in promoting future discoveries.
