Analyzing the Ethical Challenges Associated with the Use of Artificial Intelligence in Security Systems

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been used as a transformative technology in many fields, including security systems. This technology has been able to elevate security to a new level by providing advanced tools such as facial recognition, analyzing suspicious behaviors, and identifying cyber threats. However, the widespread use of AI in security systems brings with it numerous ethical challenges, the most important of which are privacy violations, unfair decision-making, and lack of transparency in performance. This article analyzes these challenges and examines their effects on public trust, social justice, and the efficiency of security systems. It also suggests solutions to mitigate these challenges, including designing unbiased algorithms, creating explainable AI systems, and establishing strict rules for data collection. The findings show that to exploit the potential of AI in security, there is a need for appropriate regulation, responsible design, and increased public awareness about the use of this technology. By presenting comparative tables and conclusions, this article provides guidance for researchers and policymakers to improve trust and accountability in AI-based systems.
