From Theory to Practice: Applying Artificial Intelligence in Environmental Education for Primary School Children

With the increasing importance of environmental education for children and the necessity of using modern educational methods, artificial intelligence has been proposed as a powerful tool in this field. The aim of this study is to investigate how to use the potential of artificial intelligence to improve environmental education at different educational levels and provide solutions for teaching environmental concepts to elementary school children. This study was conducted using a library method and a systematic approach. Data were collected from reputable scientific databases such as Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, and other related sources using relevant keywords and analyzed after careful screening. Data analysis was conducted using qualitative content analysis. The findings showed that artificial intelligence, by providing tools such as interactive educational games, virtual and augmented reality, simulations, intelligent educational assistants, and environmental data analysis, plays an important role in improving the understanding of complex environmental concepts and increasing children's motivation to learn. However, challenges remain for the effective use of these tools and access to technology. This research provides solutions to address these challenges and facilitates the optimal use of artificial intelligence in environmental education.
