Optimizing Pilgrimage Tourism Management: A KPI-Driven Strategy for Arba'een Pilgrimage Experience

The Arba'een Pilgrimage, one of the largest religious gatherings in the world, presents significant logistical and operational challenges that require meticulous planning and management. This study explores the application of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as a strategic tool to enhance the management of this massive event, focusing on operational efficiency, pilgrim satisfaction, and safety. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, the research analyzes data collected from structured interviews with pilgrimage organizers, surveys conducted with pilgrims, and secondary data from previous Arba'een Pilgrimages. The findings reveal that KPIs such as transportation efficiency, accommodation management, and health and safety compliance play a critical role in ensuring the success of the pilgrimage. The study also highlights the importance of stakeholder collaboration and the use of real-time data for responsive decision-making.
