چکیده مقاله:

In the present paper, the effect of fuel type on the combustion synthesis of copper aluminate pigment solution was investigated. The fuels used included citric acid, glycine and urea. Optical properties were investigated using reflectance spectrometer. Examination of the structure using the X-ray diffraction pattern showed that it is possible to achieve crystalline structures throughout the combustion stage. However, heat treatment is required for the removal of residual carbon, the growth and development of the crystalline structure and, most importantly, the formation of the spinel structure of copper aluminate. Examination of the morphology using a scanning electron microscope shows that the spongy morphology was created in all samples, which is due to the release of a large volume of gas. The combustion in the presence of amino-functional fuels such as glycine and urea causes the sponges to be filled with nanoparticles. Although titanium dioxide has the highest NIR reflectance, it requires color pigments for a variety of reasons, including market issues.
