چکیده مقاله:
Ecological restoration is linked to multiple factors and becomes more complex when various industries utilize nature. The tourism industry, which heavily relies on natural resources, is a sector where numerous factors influence the preservation and restoration of ecosystems. This paper explores the role of tourism stakeholders in ecological restoration efforts. By reviewing the literature on this field and using qualitative data in qualitative research, results suggest that government bodies, local communities, tourism businesses, non-governmental organizations and tourists are the most important stakeholders in maximizing ecological restoration activities in tourism. Government bodies play a crucial role by enacting policies and regulations that promote sustainable tourism practices and provide financial incentives for restoration projects. Local communities, with their intimate knowledge of the land, are essential for the success of restoration efforts and should be involved in planning and decision-making processes. Tourism businesses can contribute by adopting eco-friendly practices, supporting conservation projects, and educating tourists about the importance of sustainability. NGOs offer valuable expertise, resources, and advocacy, helping to ensure that restoration initiatives are effective and equitable. They can also facilitate collaboration among stakeholders and monitor progress. Tourists, as the end consumers, influence the demand for sustainable tourism and can actively participate in restoration activities through responsible travel choices. By working together, these stakeholders can create a tourism model that not only minimizes environmental impact but also actively contributes to the restoration and preservation of natural ecosystems, ensuring long-term ecological and economic benefits.
