چکیده مقاله:

Understanding how to manage ecosystem services for regional sustainable development is of paramount importance. Ecosystems support various products and services that are very important for human improvement and well-being. Ecosystem services as an important bridge between ecosystems and socio-economic systems is a valuable topic. Given the contextual nature of this field, numerous studies have investigated its various aspects. However, a comprehensive study examining the scientometrics of this area has yet to be conducted. To fill this gap, the present study was conducted, in which ۹۹۴۹ relevant articles published in the Scopus database between ۲۰۱۰ and ۲۰۲۴ were collected and selected based on a literature review. Subsequently, using VOSviewer software, the co-citation of previous research, co-authorship, and co-occurrence of keywords were analyzed. The findings revealed prominent authors and publications in this field, enabling a deeper understanding of this phenomenon and its implications. Keyword co-occurrence analysis also showed that the main focus of research is on examining the consequences of urban expansion and surrounding landscape transformations. The keywords "ecosystem services" and "sustainable development" were identified as the core of the research, and terms such as "climate change" and "land use" were closely related. The emergence of new research areas provides new opportunities for future research in this field.
