چکیده مقاله:

Throughout our lives, we establish strong connections with the places where we grew up, lived, worked, and studied. Our emotional and cognitive perceptions of these physical environments reflect our understanding of ourselves, both at the individual and social group levels. Environmental psychologists believe that physical conditions have an undeniable impact on human behavior and thoughts. One of the environments in which humans spend a large part of their lives is the educational environment. In the field of creativity, numerous studies have been conducted on the types of stimuli between the domain of structural similarity to the design problem and within the domain of similarity to the design problem at the design ideation stage. However, examining the effect of diversity versus lack of diversity of these types of stimuli on students' creativity has not received much attention. In addition, since each type of visual stimulus has a different effect on divergent and convergent thinking, limited studies have been conducted on the difference in this effect on students' design process. Background Today, designing appropriate university complexes is of great importance in order to improve the quality of education and increase the creativity of students. Many environmental psychologists and designers of educational spaces believe that the physical environment of the university should be organized in such a way that each individual is encouraged to perform activities and learn according to their abilities.
