چکیده مقاله:

Urban spaces are places where the social life of a community takes place, shaped by rational thinking values, civic participation, and social behavior based on human values. Urban spaces serve as the foundation for the formation and strengthening of social connections to foster a sense of security and trust in public spaces. On the other hand, public places are crucial for the formation of important ceremonial events that contribute to social interaction in these spaces. Space and behavior, considering the influencing factors, impact the perceptions of individuals and the effectiveness of social activities. Urban design can be carried out in a way that facilitates easy communication and trust-building between familiar individuals and strangers. Urban spaces play a crucial role in creating a happy city. These spaces can provide various opportunities for citizens to experience joy and well-being. The relationship between personal happiness, social well-being, and a happy city is close. Given the importance and emphasis on social interaction in urban spaces, this paper aims to identify qualitative criteria that can enhance social interactions in the Narmak neighborhood. The analysis was conducted using SPSS software. Based on the analysis and reviews, the most important factors influencing social interactions in urban spaces, particularly in the context of a happy city, can be considered in the meaningful dimensions and social interactions, especially the key characteristics of the meaningful dimensions of a happy city, such as a sense of security within the area, sense of belonging, feelings of satisfaction and happiness, artistic activities within the urban space, and the social connections between residents. Finally, the paper also outlines a vision for depicting an ideal future for the Narmak neighborhood.
