چکیده مقاله:
A small modular reactor (SMR) is a type of nuclear reactor distinguished by its smaller size and capacity compared to traditional large-scale nuclear reactors. Typically, an SMR has an electrical output of less than ۳۰۰ MW and is designed to be more mobile, safer, and easier to deploy. Recent advancements in the development, study, and application of various SMR types have demonstrated their economic and flexibility benefits across multiple industries. This paper aims to provide a comprehensive overview of several SMR types, including light water reactors (LWRs), liquid metal-cooled reactors (LMRs), molten salt reactors (MSRs), and gas-cooled reactors (GCRs). Each reactor type is examined in terms of its structural design, control modeling implementation, applications, and impacts on the power system.
