Learning English through movies in classrooms

For years, finding ways and materials to make the learning experiences for EFL students in classrooms more inspiring and fruitful has been one of the most important tasks of English teaching. The use of media in English teaching and learning has received much attention from educators and second/foreign language educators. The use of media includes the use of movies, music, films, and other types of entertainment-related learning resources. Using movies to teach a foreign language can facilitate students’ motivation, solve ambiguity and remove some of the anxiety of the non-native learners. In this article, I try to talk about my teaching experiences in this field.
