چکیده مقاله:
Musical phonetics studies the sounds and acoustic patterns in music and language, having a profound impact on learning second and third languages. This field helps us understand how musical elements such as rhythm, melody, and tone can facilitate the language learning process. Notably, research has shown that language learners can improve their listening and speaking skills by listening to and practicing musical patterns. For instance, learning a language through songs can increase phonetic awareness, providing learners with an opportunity to practice pronunciation and understand language structures. Additionally, using rhythm and rhyme in songs aids in vocabulary acquisition and memorization, helping learners retain the new language more effectively. Moreover, musical phonetics can boost learners' motivation and interest in learning new languages. When language learning is combined with music, the process becomes an enjoyable and engaging experience. This is especially important for learning second and third languages, which may present more challenges compared to the native language. Furthermore, music can foster social connections among learners, as they can listen to songs together or participate in group music activities. Consequently, musical phonetics not only aids in learning a new language but also enhances social and cultural interactions, allowing learners to become better acquainted with the language and culture.
