چکیده مقاله:
This article presents a comparative analysis of pedagogical approaches in legal education in Japan and Norway, focusing on applied law teaching methods. The evolution of legal education systems in both countries has been shaped by unique cultural, political, and educational imperatives. While Norway’s legal education system has traditionally emphasized a theory-practice balance influenced by Scandinavian legal pragmatism, Japan’s legal education has undergone significant reforms aimed at bridging theoretical knowledge with practice, particularly since the introduction of its post-۲۰۰۴ legal reforms. This study examines the pedagogical methodologies in both jurisdictions, analyzing how each country addresses the challenges of integrating theoretical knowledge with practical legal skills. A cross-cultural and interdisciplinary methodology is applied to offer insights into the strengths and weaknesses of each system. The findings contribute to a growing global dialogue on legal education reform and the importance of fostering skills-based learning environments.
