چکیده مقاله:

This Research delves into the multifaceted capacities of Saadi's Gulistan, a prominent figure in Persian literature, through the lens of Karl Heinrich Graf's critical framework. Saadi, celebrated for his profound moral insights and stylistic versatility, embodies a rich tapestry of cultural, philosophical, and literary dimensions that warrant a nuanced examination. Graf's analytical approach enables a deeper understanding of Saadi's contributions, particularly in the context of his historical milieu and the socio-political conditions of ۱۳th-century Persia. The study highlights Saadi's dual identity as both a poet and a moralist, emphasizing how his works, such as "Gulistan" and "Bustan," reflect the complexities of human experience and ethical dilemmas. By employing Graf's theoretical constructs, we explore the interplay between Saadi's narrative techniques and his philosophical underpinnings, revealing a sophisticated engagement with themes of justice, love, and the human condition. Furthermore, this essay investigates the pedagogical aspects of Saadi's writings, showcasing how his storytelling serves not only as entertainment but also as a medium for moral education and social critique. Through a close reading of selected passages, we illustrate how Saadi's insights transcend time and cultural boundaries, resonating with contemporary audiences. In addition, the article situates Saadi within the broader context of Persian literary heritage, drawing parallels with other luminaries while underscoring his unique contributions. Ultimately, this exploration aims to illuminate the enduring relevance of Saadi's Gulistan work and the profound impact of his literary legacy as interpreted through Karl Heinrich Graf's analytical lens, enriching our appreciation of this iconic figure in world literature.
