چکیده مقاله:

Alyssum genus has about ۱۰۰-۱۷۰ species of flowering plants native to Egypt, Arabia, Iraq, Iran, and Pakistan. Alyssum L. belongs to the Cruciferae family with ۲۷ species in Iran. In traditional medicine, Alyssum is used for various purposes. Althaea L., from the Malvaceae family, has five species in Iran and is valued for its medicinal properties and ornamental flowers. The experiment aimed to study the germination of Alyssum and Althaea seeds under different treatments. The seeds were obtained from the gene bank of the Research Institute of Forests and Rangelands in Iran. Various treatments were applied to the seeds, and germination percentages were calculated. Results showed significant effects of treatments on germination percentages of both Alyssum and Althaea seeds.
