چکیده مقاله:
This article examines the role of smart refineries in the oil industry and their profound impact onproductivity and efficiency. In today's world, given the rapid technological advancements and the urgentneed to optimize processes, smart refineries are recognized as effective solutions for increasing productivityand reducing costs. These types of refineries utilize technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), bigdata analytics, and artificial intelligence (AI) to optimize processes and enhance product quality. Thebenefits of using smart refineries include increased productivity, reduced costs, improved safety, fasterresponse times, and the achievement of sustainable development goals.These advantages not only lead to greater profitability for companies but also have positive social andenvironmental impacts. However, challenges such as the need for high investment, incompatibility of newtechnologies with legacy systems, and economic and regulatory barriers must also be addressed. Forsuccessful implementation of smart refineries, cultural changes within organizations and the capability ofmanagers to lead teams are essential. Additionally, government policies should provide necessary supportfor investments in new technologies. Strategies such as funding innovative projects, establishing clear legalframeworks, developing digital infrastructure, and encouraging collaboration between the private sector anduniversities can help facilitate this process.Ultimately, by implementing these strategies, it is expected that refineries will not only excel inproductivity but also successfully achieve sustainable development goals, playing a fundamental role in thefuture of energy. This article also emphasizes the importance of continuous innovation and collaborationamong various entities to fully leverage the potential of smart refineries. Given global pressures to reducereliance on fossil fuels, these developments can lead to a more sustainable and responsible industry.
