چکیده مقاله:

Pipes are considered among the most widely used components in industry. Several methods have been proposed for the production of seamless pipes. Among these methods, Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) has gained attention in additive manufacturing due to its low cost and high deposition rate. In this study, Gas Metal Arc Welding is proposed for pipe fabrication. To achieve this, a setup capable of producing cylindrical parts was developed. Welding parameters such as welding speed, voltage, and wire feed rate were considered as the key factors influencing the welding process. With three levels for each parameter, a full factorial design consisting of ۲۷ experiments was conducted to obtain an optimal weld bead. Rotating parts were produced using the molten pool generated during welding. To evaluate the quality of the produced parts, tensile tests were performed, and the results showed that the cylindrical parts exhibit satisfactory mechanical strength. This method can be applied in the manufacturing of pipes with desired diameters as well as rotating parts with various profiles in industrial applications.
