With growing concerns about climate change and the urgent need to reduce energy consumption, selecting the right materials for building insulation has become a critical aspect of sustainable architecture. This paper explores the principles of choosing high-performance thermal insulation materials, analyzing their characteristics and environmental impact. Innovative materials such as Aero-Therm-Composite and multilayer insulation systems are highlighted as superior alternatives to traditional insulation. These advanced materials offer low thermal conductivity, high mechanical stability, and enhanced durability, making them effective in minimizing energy loss and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. By conducting comparative analyses of thermal performance, lifecycle assessment, and mechanical resilience, this research establishes a framework for integrating these materials into energy-efficient buildings. The findings suggest that adopting such materials significantly contributes to achieving net-zero energy goals while promoting eco-friendly construction practices. Additionally, the study emphasizes the role of recycled and renewable insulation materials in reducing the environmental footprint of buildings.
