چکیده مقاله:

Conventional deep drawing (CDD) and hydroforming deep drawing (HDD) are two widely used methods for producing cylindrical cups. This study examines two cylindrical workpieces created using separate dies, comparing their deformation forces and sheet thickness distributions. To increase the drawing ratio in HDD, the pressure in the chamber must be accurately calculated and applied. A limited tearing pressure curve was derived through finite element simulation, which, combined with a series of hydroforming experiments, enabled the selection of optimal pressure. Using the proper pressure path, a drawing ratio of ۲.۳ was achieved. The results indicate that while HDD requires higher forces, it allows for achieving greater drawing ratios.
