چکیده مقاله:
This study investigates the aerodynamic performance of two prominent airfoil profiles – the S۸۰۹ and NACA ۴۴۱۲ – for wind turbine blade applications. Utilizing Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations within the Q-BLADE software, the analysis focuses on a crucial range of angles of attack, spanning from -۹ degrees to ۱۶ degrees, encompassing typical operating conditions for wind turbines. The simulations are conducted at a Reynolds number of ۳×۱۰⁶, consistent with real-world scenarios. By meticulously evaluating key aerodynamic parameters such as lift, drag, and lift-to-drag ratio (L/D), this research aims to: comprehensively characterize the aerodynamic behavior of both airfoil profiles; identify the airfoil with superior performance characteristics within the specified angle of attack range; and provide valuable insights for the design and optimization of wind turbine blades. The findings of this study have the potential to contribute to the development of more efficient and cost-effective wind energy systems.
