This paper provides a comprehensive examination of the strengths and weaknesses of page layout educational content in vocational and technical art schools, focusing on its impact on students’ learning and practical skills. The study begins by defining the fundamental principles of page layout design, such as alignment, hierarchy, and balance, which are critical in developing students’ ability to create visually effective and aesthetically pleasing designs. It traces the historical evolution of layout design from traditional print forms to modern digital applications, assessing how these changes have influenced educational approaches and curriculum design. The analysis explores the educational resources available, contrasting traditional curricula and textbooks with digital platforms and tools. These resources are evaluated for their effectiveness in preparing students for industry challenges, emphasizing project-based learning and interactive teaching methodologies. The use of real-world projects and collaborative learning environments highlights the benefits of linking theoretical knowledge with practical application, thereby enhancing critical problem-solving abilities and teamwork skills crucial in the professional design world. Furthermore, the paper delves into the alignment of educational content with current industry needs, discussing curriculum adaptability and networking opportunities that foster industry connections.
