Abstract: This research review explores the phonological differences between Persian and English languages, examining their theoretical foundations, practical applications, and implications. The study provides a comprehensive analysis of the distinct features in the sound systems of these two languages, including segmental (vowels and consonants) and suprasegmental (stress, intonation) elements. The primary objectives of this research are to identify and explicate the key phonological differences between Persian and English, contribute to the broader field of contrastive linguistics, and offer practical insights for language teaching and learning. The significance of this study lies in its potential to enhance the understanding of both Persian and English phonology, as well as the relationships between these two linguistic systems.
