Assessing the Quality of Naqadeh Plain Groundwater

In this study, the quality of Naqadeh plain groundwater, North-West of Iran were evaluated for their suitability for drinking and irrigation uses. The qualitative characteristics of the ۲۴ wells of water were analyzed from ۲۰۰۸ to ۲۰۲۲. The suitability of water for drinking was evaluated based on Schuler diagram. According to the water quality parameters values it seems that the study area's groundwater is suitable for drinking purposes. The suitability of water for irrigation was evaluated based on Wilcox diagram. Based on the above-mentioned diagram it seems that the study area's groundwater is quite possible used for irrigation purposes
