چکیده مقاله:
This article reviews rubber fatigue with a special focus on the fatigue of rubber used in automotive engine mounts. The study aims to predict the fatigue life of these rubbers using finite element method (FEM) analysis and computer simulations. It explains the mechanical properties of rubber, the effects of variables such as stiffness, strain rate, and deformation temperature on fatigue, and examines various fatigue assessment methods including principal strain, strain energy density (SED), and cracking energy density (CED). Fatigue tests on three-dimensional rubber samples were conducted, and the results were used to predict the fatigue life of engine mounts.
