چکیده مقاله:
Optimal water resource management in urban areas requires a comprehensive and innovative approach that can address the challenges posed by rapid population growth and climate change. In this regard, the use of advanced technologies such as remote sensing and geographic information systems can aid in more accurate analysis of water consumption patterns and identification of critical points. Additionally, the establishment of green infrastructure, such as vertical gardens and green roofs, not only helps reduce runoff but can also improve urban air quality and enhance the greenery of cities. Moreover, the involvement of local communities in decision-making and planning processes is of great importance. Educating and raising awareness among citizens about optimal water consumption and water conservation techniques can lead to reduced waste and increased social responsibility. Furthermore, creating networks of collaboration among government, the private sector, and non-governmental organizations can facilitate the exchange of experiences and innovations in water management. By adopting these approaches, we can move towards sustainable and effective water resource management in today’s cities.
