In this study, the model of the floating interleaved dual-boost converter is presented. Then, diodes parallel to the current flow path in the inductors of each module have been built into the structure of this converter to solve the problems caused by the high inrush currents in the initial moments. Also, in this study, the reasons for choosing this converter will be addressed. The simulation was first performed on a boost converter with a constant power load to confirm the performance of the control system. In this study, a variable direct current source was used as a simplified model of the input layer of the microgrid. One of the primary goals of this study was to investigate the results of step and gradual changes in load, input voltage, output voltage reference, and the level of resistance of the system to parameter uncertainties. The analysis of the results revealed that the new structure of the presented converter has resulted in a reduction in the initial adjusting current.
