چکیده مقاله:
Benzothiazoles are an important part of biologically active heterocyclic compounds that have been synthesized in many ways. In this research, Gum Arabic /Zr(IV) was synthesized and characterized. used as a heterogeneous and recyclable Lewis acid catalyst for the one-pot synthesis of of benzothiazole derivatives from the condensation reaction of aromatic aldehydes and ۲-aminothiophenol using Zr+۴ carrier catalyst and gum arabic at ۹۰ ºC and solvent-free conditions is introduced. The most important advantages of the reaction are solvent-free conditions, high efficiency, cheapness, and the ability to recycle the catalyst, using a green and environmentally friendly catalyst.
