چکیده مقاله:

There were recurring patterns regarding state-building and theperformance of political elites during the pre-modern era, with Nader ShahAfshar following Timūr Gurkānī's model being the most prominentexample. In this imitation, which naturally entailed a type of politicalmilitary idealism, it was Timūr Gurkānī's idealism, which emerged from aMongolian-Turkish background, that had such a great influence on NaderShah Afshar to an extent that he followed Timūr beyond his political andmilitary world. Given that they emerged from Greater Khorasan's culture, which for many periods was influenced by the dominance of MongolianTurkish culture, Nader's imitation of Timūr was investigated based on theunderstanding of Timūr's idealism. Based on Sufi traditions, One Thousandand One Nights stories, Timūr narratives, legends, and his great attempts topresent an ideal image of himself, a firm foundation was provided over a۳۰۰-year period from which Nader benefited, and in terms of political andmilitary aspects, but not governance, Nader prospered like Timūr andperpetuated his name in history.
