چکیده مقاله:

Climate change refers to significant and long-term changes in the Earth's temperature and weather patterns caused by both natural and human factors. It has widespread effects on the environment and human communities. These include reduced water resources, increased temperatures and droughts, more frequent and severe floods, melting ice and rising sea levels, depletion of the ozone layer, and the spread of plant pests and diseases. These changes threaten food security and agricultural production and contribute to the spread of infectious diseases. Additionally, water resource management faces significant challenges due to the pressures from climate change and increasing water demand. One solution for water resource management is Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM), which focuses on the coordination and management of water, land, and related resources. Moreover, international organizations such as the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) have strategies that focus on increasing agricultural production, sustainable land management, and protecting local food resources. Overall, the Water-Energy-Food (WEF) Nexus is proposed as an approach to addressing environmental challenges and achieving sustainable development.
